Last night I was making a necklace and decided to turn on the tube and the Miss Universe pageant was on. So I thought, “why not?” Of course there's all the talk "but it's not good for your self-esteem and the clothes are immodest." Pa-shaw! These girls are pretty and if all they have going for them is the pageant world then more power to them. They could be spending their time doing way more harmful things so I say, don't be too serious about it. I had already missed most of the pageant and there was only about 15 minutes left but I was blown away by one of the dresses. Any guess which one I liked the best? I'm excited to vote. This is the first year in my whole life that I haven't watched the pageants as they aired on TV.
Many of you don't know this, but it was a dream of mine to do pageants when I was younger. After high school I had the opportunity to compete in the Miss Utah USA pageant 2x (this pageant leads to the miss USA, then Miss Universe if one wins) It was a wonderful and fun opportunity. I am so grateful to have done that. Anyway, the dresses are so much fun... I need to look and vote.
