All about Me: Elise

I have never blogged before, so this is a First! Little bit about me: I'm married to a great man, I have 5 children, 4 in-laws, 4 handsome grandsons and 10 beautiful granddaughters. I have lived in Layton,Utah most of my life.
I currently work as a Receptionist for Crus Oil in Salt Lake City. Yes I commute!
I have many interests: Cooking,baking,candy
making,sewing,gardening,photography,reading,
traveling and many more.
I love good food, and good entertainment.
I'm learning to live with celiac disease. I am rethinking my cooking skills. It is trying sometimes.
Fruits and Veggies and SOY are my new found friends.

This should be a new fun experience!

Fruits and veggies are my new found friends as well, thanks to Raquel. Btw, I have KALE in the fridge. Help! It's been there for 3 days and I don't know what to do?! Anyway, Elise, you make good candy!

Good luck with your new diet. I'm sure it's very hard to give up wheat. I admire you.

Celiac can be a tough adjustment. Let me know if you need food ideas. I am not currently gluten free but my son is and I have gone on a gluten free trial for a few months too. We know all about food restrictions though. I am learning how to feed a son who can't eat wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts/seeds. It's trying for sure.
