The Bearington Collection

Brandon took us (me, Glo, Lynne, Ryan, & Noah) to Friday Harbor and we went into this adorable boutique (more on that later) and I saw these cute, stuffed cats! I got the grey/white striped one named "Paws." They also have miniature sizes, i.e., "Lil' Paws." The pictures don't do them justice. You feel like you have a real kitten in your hands! Minus the clawing and spraying (eww...). They are adorable. I noticed they also have lots of cute things for babies. click here for more info.

Creative Overload? Never!

I've been going crazy for the past few weeks! This time of year, there is so much to create! Today, I just finished loading up my etsy shop. Mostly because I'm going to be doing a big giveaway soon on a really big blog.

Last week, put together some fun Christmas cards:Was featured on one of my favorite sites, design aglow!
Took some back-to-school pics of my daughter...

And chopped my wedding dress in half. Am I crazy? It was so worth it!
Also, last week I "finished" the novel I've been working on... I mean, as finished as it can get... I still have TONS of editting to do.

What does this time of year bring to you?

Little Ballerina

I have a cousin who has a daughter named Jennifer Sumko. She is expecting a new little one who will be named Catherine. She made such a cute nursery and she is making these little ballerina outfits out of a onesie. If you could get that soft tulle they are using on baby clothes these days it would be a fun project to make some of these. That tulle is amazing stuff it is so soft and strong and washable I would just pin the flower with a saftey pin and then take it off to be washed.

currentcodes.com

Has anyone tried this website before making an online purchase? Just wondering.

http://www.currentcodes.com/

Hundreds of well-known online stores like Barnes and Noble, Staples, and Overstock.com have a place within their shopping cart for a "coupon code" that gives a percent or dollar amount off your purchase. If you don't know the code, you can't take advantage of the discount. You can find these secret discount codes and coupon codes listed on many sites across the internet but the problem with these sites is that they're usually personal homepages and they don't maintain their lists! Currentcodes.com has a full-time staff of trained individuals whose only job is to find new coupon codes and discount codes and verify the accuracy of the existing database. We don't flood you with ads and we don't throw deals in your face. No hype, just current codes.

Today...

... I'm designing a wedding album for my sister in law :) I was the photographer on their big day. I love being able to do this for family, not that I don't enjoy getting paid, but I like being able to give the gift...

And now that I finished the pages, I should really get to work on the dust jacket and custom photo book cover!
